The day
goes fast.
The film
brings it back.

Natural, story-led wedding films that hold onto how it actually felt. Two videographers as standard, so your people and the moments you never saw are part of the story too.

Not a wedding advert.

Your day. Your people. All the bits you didn’t get to see.

While you’re getting ready, somebody else is trying not to cry. While you’re saying hello to one table, your favourite people are making memories at another. A wedding film gives all of that back to you—the nerves, the voices, the glances and the complete nonsense.

Film My Wedding is based in Manchester and covers weddings across the North West, Cheshire, Lancashire, Liverpool, Yorkshire, the wider UK and destinations abroad. Wherever the day happens, the film is built around you rather than a template.

Where’s the giant wedding showreel?

Fair question. I’m not going to fake one.

I’m Jack. I’ve made films professionally for more than twelve years—directing people who hate being on camera, running demanding shoots and turning messy real life into a clear story.

I’ve filmed two weddings before. I know the pace, the pressure and the fact that there are no retakes. I’m now building this side of my work properly, which means the first five couples get founding rates, serious experience and a two-person crew with something to prove.

No wedding reel. Plenty of real work.

The films I make when I’m not at a wedding.

My corporate work has taken me across Northern Europe, building campaigns and films for Hilti with product experts, customers and partner businesses. Different setting; exactly the same skills: put people at ease, find the story and deliver when the pressure is on.

Good planning. Light touch. Loud memories.

01

Before

We have a proper discovery session.

We talk through the full layout of your day, the people who matter, your absolute must-captures and the things you are quietly hoping happen. We build a wishlist, explore the different ways it could be filmed and spot the moments you may not realise are worth protecting. No generic questionnaire fired over the week before.

02

On the day

Present. Never in the way.

I don’t direct your wedding or turn it into a film set. The aim is to stay calm, unobtrusive and ready for the natural moments as they happen. If you want guidance—or the room, light or timing needs a firmer hand—I can step into a more directorial role, quickly get what we need, then give the day straight back to you. Two videographers are included as standard, so nobody has to choose which side of the story matters more.

03

After

Nothing good gets left behind.

I meticulously work through every angle, every recording and all the little pieces happening at the edges. Then I build the film around the voices, reactions and running jokes that made the day yours. Colour is crafted, music is licensed and the moments that deserve to breathe are given room—so the finished film carries the magic rather than merely proving the wedding happened.

Talk through your day
Why are there always two videographers?+

Because weddings only happen once. A two-person crew gives you simultaneous coverage, stronger audio backup and more natural reactions without asking anybody to repeat a moment. It’s the baseline, not an upgrade.

You really don’t have a wedding portfolio?+

Not one I’m happy to use publicly. I’ve filmed two weddings, but I’m beginning this body of work with a clean slate. I won’t pass off styled shoots, stock or somebody else’s day as experience. The launch pricing reflects that; the videography experience is already there.

Will we have to pose?+

No—you do not have to pose. I pride myself on noticing and capturing natural moments without constantly interrupting them. If you want some more deliberately posed or editorial content, we can absolutely make time for it. I may suggest good light, a strong backdrop or a simple prompt, but you are always in control of how directed the experience feels.

When do we get the film?+

Your main film will be delivered within eight weeks. Packages with a teaser include that within seven days, or within 48 hours on The Director’s Cut.

Do you travel?+

Yes. I’m a Manchester wedding videographer covering the North West, Cheshire, Lancashire, Liverpool, Yorkshire—including Leeds, Sheffield and York—the wider UK and destination weddings. Travel within 50 miles is included; anything further is quoted clearly before you book.

Are you insured and is the music licensed?+

Yes. I carry public liability insurance, use professional backup recording throughout the day and license every track used in your films.
